Studies show meaningful activity, engagement in one’s environment, continued opportunities to learn and use skills, socialisation, creative expression, and music are far more effective then pharmaceuticals for people living with Alzheimer’s and other types of dementia.
- Wednesday 7 and 21 March: Spa Morning scheduled from 11am to 1pm at WindReach. Please contact Jane (M: 534-5263) and/or Laura (M:707-1972) for appointments.
- Friday 16 March - Animal therapy at WindReach Petting Zoo from 12:30pm. Following the success of our February visit we have arranged a second afternoon outing to WindReach. Teas and coffee will be provided, but bring a packed lunch or snacks and meet in the lower hall from 12:30pm. There will be no morning meeting at St. Paul's on Friday 16 March.
- Sunday 18 March - Family Support Group meeting held from 4:30pm at the Charity's office, 16 Burnaby Street (above Devil's Isle).
- Friday 30 March - no activities due to the Good Friday holiday. We hope you'll be enjoying Codfish cakes and flying your kites high!
