Studies show meaningful activity, engagement in one’s environment, continued opportunities to learn and use skills, socialisation, creative expression, and music are far more effective then pharmaceuticals for people living with Alzheimer’s and other types of dementia.
Please note the earlier start at our Monday and Thursday groups at Peace Lutheran Hall, with extra time built in for arts & crafts with Jane.
The AAD Family & Caregiver Support Group meeting will be held on Sunday 8 December at Markel House, Front Street from 4:00pm with Liz Stewart and members of the AAD Board.
